Mirco Moschini has worked in artificial intelligence for twenty years. He designs digital systems and experiences around people’s needs, with a particular focus on inclusion, ethics and the impact of technology on everyday life.

His work spans a wide range of projects: from spoken news for blind and partially sighted people with Senti che Notizia, to immersive learning platforms at Virtual Land, which he founded.

In Pico & Simon, these themes take the form of a story: a boy and a robot explore AI through questions, examples and activities. Curiosity, responsibility and the joy of learning together are at its heart, inviting young readers and the adults alongside them to join the adventure.

  1. Dream it up. What shape is it? What does its smile look like?
  2. Give it a name. Write it beside your drawing.
